Why Do We Hate People for No Reason?
The Hating Feeling
Hating someone is a natural feeling. Do you ever felt hating
someone that much with or without reason?
Hating someone with a reason is more making sense than there isn't
any reason. We don't know why but sometimes we can hating someone in the first
impression.
In my religion, we are advised not to hate each other because hate is like a poison, poison of our heart that can be stay and taken our heart also it would be trigger badness. As Alloh SWT says in Qur'an surat al-Hujurat 49:10 "Indeed, the believers are brothers, so make peace between your two brothers, and fear Allah, so that you may receive mercy." That proves if hating feeling such forbidden things, even if it is a natural human emotion but we shouldn't be preserved.
Let's take a look at the science side, why are we hating others? Some researchers believe all people have the capacity to hate, while others believe true hatred is uncommon. What does seem clear is that hatred tends to emerge as a learned emotion that flourishes in the absence of compassion.
Feelings of hatred or intense emotional
dislike develop for many reasons. People might begin to hate another person or
group when they:
- Feel envy or want what the other person has. They may consider it unfair that someone has what they lack.
- Have contempt for another person or believe them to be inferior.
- Learn hatred from parents, their community, or other social groups.
- Are humiliated or mistreated by another person.
Then why are we hating someone for no reason? that's called Misanthropy is a general hatred, dislike, distrust or contempt of the human species, human behavior or human nature. A misanthrope or misanthropist is someone who holds such views or feelings.
Hating for no reason may be caused by:
- You don't have something they have.
- You think they don't deserve it.
- You can't get over the past.
- You have nothing to do in this life.
- Your life ain't as great and exciting as theirs.
- You need more attention.
- You feel unhappy with some things in your own life.
- You feel like you need to put someone down to feel good about yourself.
- You are losers.
“Instead of hating someone, pray for that person. Don't forget to pray for yourself as well, that you may learn how to let go and forgive.”
